The Woolpack Fryerning sits at the top of Fryerning Lane, the historic narrow turning off Ingatestone High Street. An attractive, weather-boarded building, The Woolpack Fryerning overlooks a small green with village signs and a huge oak tree, and is positioned amidst an extremely affluent residential area. Internally, you will find chic beige and oak décor together with 1950’s black & white fashion photographs.

John & Lisa Hood, the private owners, established The Woolpack Fryerning in the Summer of 2004. With it’s 2AA Rosettes for culinary excellence (the highest restaurant award in Essex) and recommended status from The Michelin Guide, the modern British menu is full of unusual as well as classic alternatives. Above all, fresh food is delivered daily.

THE WOOLPACK HAS BEEN AWARDED 2 ROSETTES BY THE AA RESTAURANT GUIDE FOR THE THIRD YEAR RUNNING 2007-2008
